Tomato chutney 

Tomato chutney is indeed a healthy option for an individual to choose. Tomatoes are loaded with antioxidant called lycopene.  Which has been linked to many health benefits including reduced risk of heart disease and cancer.They are also great source of vitamin C, potassium, folate, vitamin k. 


Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan

Add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cumin seeds, chopped onion Cook until onion turn into a golden brown then add tomato puree, salt, black pepper, red chili flakes, red chili sauce, dark soya sauce

Cook on low flam until oil get separate, then add curd mix well and cook for 5 minutes. 

Serve with brown rice or chapati.


Tomato puree – 100gms

Onion - 100gms

Cinnamon stick – 1

Bay leaf - 1

Cumin seeds – ¼ tsp

Black pepper – ¼ tsp

Red chili flakes – as per taste

Red chili sauce – ½ tsp

Dark soya sauce – ¼ tsp

Curd – 10gms

salt  -  as per the taste

Oil – 1 tsp
