Salad Of sprouts
Sprouting process increases the nutrient sprouts.They are rich in fiber and helps in digestion and it lowers the cholesterol. It detoxifies the body. Salad of Sprouts helps in weight loss.
- Soak in water whole green gram overnight.
- Next day drain off all water, cover and keep aside for the gram to germinate for another day and night.
- Next day when the grams have sprouted wash and strain the sprouts and add to it chopped onion, green chillies and ginger. Also add chopped cucumber.
- Remove skin and seeds of sweet lime or orange. Then add salt and gently mix everything together. Refrigerate the salad and serve chill.
Green gram sprouts-1½ cups
Sweet lime or Oranges-4 or 6
Ginger a small piece
Salt to taste
