 Ragi vegetable soup is highly nutritious and healthy. Quick and easy to prepare. Made with the enticing and nourishing combination of ragi and veggies, this soup recipe is a very good dish for someone, who is trying to lose weight. It is very easy to make and you feels fuller for longer time.


Method

  • Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds once it starts crackle, add onions and fry till they turn light pink in colour.
  • Now add all chopped veggies except spinach, then add salt and water, cover and cook till veggies are little soft.
  • Now add spinach and again cook for sometime.
  • Make paste of ragi flour and add, stir it immediately.
  • Now add black pepper powder, amchur powder and flax seed powder, mix well and add in required water to get the right soup consistency.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.

Ingredients

  • Ragi flour- 2 tbsp
  • Cauliflower florets- 25 gms
  • Carrot- 25 gms (chopped)
  • Onions- 25 gms (chopped)
  • Spinach- 25 gms (chopped)
  • Coriander leaves- 2 tbsp
  • Flax seed powder- 1 tsp
  • Black pepper powder- ¼ tsp
  • Amchur powder- ¼ tsp
  • Water- as required
  • Salt- as per taste

For tempering:

  • Oil- 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds- ½ tsp
