Ragi porridge which is packed nutritive goodness of ragi.

Ragi is comprises of nutrients like vitamin C, Vitamin E, antioxidants, proteins, and unsaturated fats. TheB complex vitamins – thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, as well as calcium, magnesium, and iron are also found in ample amounts in ragi flour. It is a healthy Breakfast option.


  • In a small cup take 3 tbsp. ragi flour.
  • Dissolve ragi flour in 1 cup water without forming any lumps. Keep aside.
  • Now in a saucepan boil 1 cup water.
  • Once the water comes to a boil add in dissolved ragi flour.
  • Stir continuously keeping the flame on medium.
  • The mixture thickens after 5 mins and turns glossy after 9 minutes.
  • Further add 2 tsp of jaggery
  • Stir until the jaggery dissolves completely and turns creamy
  • Now add cup milk and mix on low flame.
  • Furthermore, add ¼ tsp cardamom powder and mix well.
  • Garnish with Almonds and serve in breakfast.

Cardamom powder                  ¼ tsp

Almonds                                  ¼ tsp
