Quinoa is considered to be one of the superfoods because of its high protein content, high in iron and magnesium. Quinoa and oats is very nutritious and high in fiber and has a low glycemic index which helps in controlling blood sugar levels and also helps in to lose weight. Quinoa is gluten free and high in essential amino acids.


  • wash and soak all dals, quinoa and oats together. Soak it for 4 hrs.
  • put soaked dal and quinoa into a blender. Now add salt, ginger chilli paste and cumin seeds.
  • Grind it well using little water and make it into normal dosa batter consistency and let it rest for 1 hour.
  • Heat a nonstick pan and pour one big spoon full of batter and spread it into a thin dosa.
  • Sprinkle oil on dosa and cook it until golden brown from the bottom.
  • Serve hot with mint chutney or sambar.


  • Quinoa- 10 gms
  • Oats- 10 gms
  • Chana dal- 1 tsp
  • Urad dal- 1 tsp
  • Masoor dal- 1 tsp
  • Moong dal- 1 tsp
  • Ginger chilli paste- 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
  • Oil- 1 tsp
  • Water- as required
  • Salt- as per taste
