Oats Chaat

Oat chaat is an healthy snack and low in calorie and keeps you full for long. The sweet chutney id made from dates which has many health benefits and provides essential vitamins and minerals. Oats is full of fiber and helps in digestion and keeps you full. It helps in lowering your cholesterol and regulates blood sugar level


Method

  1. For sweet chutney
  2. Put tamarind and dates after washing them in a vessel with 1/4 cup water and boil it for 5 mins on high flame.
  3. Let it cool and then blend it in a mixer Now add chilli powder, cumin powder, black salt, and mix well.
  4. Dry roast the oats in a non-stick pan for 3-4 minutes on a medium flame.
  5. Allow the oats to cool.
  6. Now mix all the ingredients with the oats in a large bowl and garnish it with coriander
  7. Serve immediately

Ingredients

For sweet chutney

Dates without seed-2

Tamarind without seed-1

Jeera powder-1/2tsp

 Chilli powder -1/2 tsp

water - 15 ml

Black salt to taste

 For chaat

Oats -30g

onion  finely chopped-1tbsp

low fat curds -2tbsp

Boiled kabuli chana- 15g

Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp

Black salt to taste

mint coriander chutney-2tsp

Finely chopped coriander -2tbsp
