Native to Indian subcontinent sattu is a staple food in Bihar. It reduces the problems associated with stomach and flushes out the toxins from the body. It improves bowel movements. It is high in several nutrients such as iron, magnesium, sodium and fiber. Sattu helps to regulate blood pressure and is good for skin and hair too.


Method

  • In a blender add sattu, aamchur powder, cumin powder, lemon juice, mint leaves, water and salt.
  • Blend all the ingredients properly and serve.

Ingredients

Sattu – 2tbsp

Cumin powder – ½ tsp

Aamchur powder – ½ tsp

Lemon juice – 2 tsp

Mint leaves – 5-6 leaves (chopped)

Water – 1 glass

Salt – to taste
