Barley flour is a great option if you want to tuck in paratha’s. It helps to manage diabetes and also boost immune system. It even helps in keeping the intestine healthy. Prevents cancer and asthma too. Lauki being high in water content are low in calories and promotes weight loss. Keeps body cool, refreshing and reduces stress. Lauki paratha is not just healthy but also YUM!!


  • Take barley flour in a mixing bowl and add lauki in it.
  • Add cumin powder, kasturi methi and salt according to your taste.
  • Make the dough, add water if necessary.
  • Let it set for 10 mins.
  • Roll the dough and make paratha.
  • Roast it on pan and apply oil.
  • Serve hot.

Lauki grated – 20 g

Cumin powder – 1 tsp

Kasturi methi – 1 tsp

Olive oil – 1 tsp

Salt – to taste
