We all are familiar with this delicious Indian Food. Apart from containing low calories, Indian dalia is full of fiber content as well. As we all know the amazing benefits of fiber that it makes you full and reduces appetite, thus reducing caloric intake. It also has a low glycemic index, which helps in lowering blood sugar level, and thus helping in weight loss.


1. Heat ghee in  a pan and add the dalia and roast it for a while annd remove it from the flame.

2. Add some more ghee on the pan and saute all the vegetables till it gets a little bit soft.

3. Add the roasted Daliya with it, add water and salt and other spices to it.

4. Cook it for sometime till it get thickens and serve it with raita or curd.


Daliya - 2 tbsp

French beans - 1/2 cup

Peas- 1/2 cup

Carrot - 1/2 chopped

Ghee - 2 tsp

Water - As per needed

Salt - As per taste

Turmeric - A pinch

Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
