It’s a low fat chicken recipe with yogurt as a base.  Yogurt has lots of health benefits. It enhances immunity and improves digestion. Also helps in weight reduction and stimulates appetite. Chicken are good source of protein and aids in weight loss.



  • Take the yogurt and mix in the cumin powder, garlic paste, garam masala, salt and red chili powder. Mix properly. Put chicken into this and add slit chillies. Keep aside for 30 minutes.
  • Now heat 1 tsp oil in pan and add onion. Cook till translucent and soft.
  • Add the tomatoes. Cook for a minute and add all the chicken and marinade.
  • Keep cooking till gravy reaches the consistency you prefer.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy.  


Chicken – 70 g

Yogurt – 2tbsp

Cumin powder – ½ tsp

Garlic paste – ½ tsp

Red chili powder – ½ tsp

Garam masala – ¼ tsp

Green chili – 2, slit

Onion – 1 medium

Tomato – ½ medium

Coriander – to garnish

Coconut oil – 1tsp

Salt – to taste
