A nutritious but fulfilling salad which is suitable to be eaten in lunch or dinner, replacing your daily food. This recipe originates from the middle east. Most beneficial if you are on a diet. Not all diet food recipes lack taste plus it is packed with protien and fiber which comes from chickpea (hummus), this recipe has a lot of taste in minimal filling, leaving your taste buds satisfied.


  • First marinate the chicken with salt,papper,red chilli powder, cumin powder, cinnamon powder, garlic and curd for at least half an hour.
  • In a pan add oil, marinated chicken and cook untill chicken is tendor and dry.
  • Take a big bowl add cooked chicken, hummus,and all vegetables like onion, tomato,capsicum, carrot and mix it well.
  • Serve hot.


Chicken cubes - 100 gms

Cinnamon powder - 1 tsp

Cumin powder - 1 tsp

Red chilli powder - 1 tsp

Garlic cloves - 4/5 (crushed)

Curd - 1 tbsp

Oil - 2 tsp

Hummus - 2 tbsp

Onion - 25 gms (chopped)

Tomato - 25 gms (chopped)

Capsicum - 25 gms (chopped)

Carrots - 25 gms (chopped) optional

French beans 15 gms (optional)
