Chia seeds Apple and Dahi smoothie
A nutrient dense recipe that is loaded with great amount of fibre and proteins. it contains 2 main ingredient i.e. Apple and Flaxseeds.
Apples are extremely rich in important antioxidants, flavanoids, and dietary fiber. The phytonutrients and antioxidants in apples may help reduce the risk of developing cancer, hypertension, diabetes, and . heart disease. Chia seeds the other important ingredient is the loaded with fibre and proteins. It is high in omega 3 fatty acids and antioxidants. These seeds works amazingly for weightloss due to its low calories and carbs.
In this recipe, there is no sugar added, if you want, you can add 1-2 tsp honey making it healthy and nutritious.
- Soak chia seeds in enough water and let it bloom.
- In a juicer jar add peeled and sliced apple, yogurt or curd, honey (optional) and salt.
- Blend the mixer until it is smooth.
- Add ice cubes and run the mixer.
- Add the soaked chia seeds, mix them well and pour into glasses.
- Garnish it with cinnamon powder.
- Serve immediately.
Curd / Yogurt – 1 cup
Salt – a generous pinch
Chia Seeds – 1 tbs, soaked in water
Honey - 1 tbsp
