Cabbage is wonderful gut loving, heart healthy vegetable.

It has a soluble and insoluble fiber which make it an excellent gut living vegetable.

The soluble fiber acts as a rich fuel for gut friendly bacteria.



In a non - stick pan add oil add curry leaves, cumin seeds, bay leaf  for few seconds now and chopped garlic to it sauté for few minutes.

Then add chopped cabbage, salt, red chili, garam masala, mix it well and cook till the cabbage is cooked.

In a bowl take flour then add cooked cabbage, chaat masala, turmeric powder, mix well and make a dough and keep aside for 10 minutes.

Divide the dough into 2 equal portions and roll out each portion into a circle, using little whole wheat flour for rolling

Heat a tava and cook each paratha, till golden brown spots appear on both the sides.

Serve hot. 


Cabbage         30gm

Wheat flour    15gms

Jowar flour       15gms

Salt                  as per the taste

Turmeric powder    ¼ tsp

Red chili powder    1 tsp

Garam masala       ½ tsp

Curry leaves           3 leaves

Cumin seeds          ¼ tsp

Chaat masala         ½ tsp

Bay leaves             1 leaf

Garlic                     1 cloves

Oil                          1tsp
