Cabbage, Carrot and Babycorn Stir-Fry

Stir – fries are always on top of the list when it comes to healthy cooking to monitor the amount of fat used. Try this crunch filled combination of cabbage, carrot and babycorn.


  • Heat the oil and cumin seeds and green chili.
  • When the cumin seeds crackle, add the cabbage, babycorn and carrot and salt and sauté over a medium flame for a few seconds.
  • Sprinkle a little water if required and combine and continue to cook till it is soft.
  • Serve at room temperature.  


Cabbage – ½ cup, sliced thinly

Carrot – ½ cup, cut into strips

Babycorn – ¼ cup, sliced and parboiled

Cumin seeds – ¼ tsp

Green chili – 1 small, slit

Oil – ½ tsp

Salt to taste
